Greenwich Park
One of London's eight Royal Parks and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Greenwich Park is a spectacular hilltop retreat covering 183 acres with sweeping views across the Thames and Canary Wharf. Families flock here for the maritime-themed adventure playground (one of London's best), the boating lake open in spring and summer, a beloved deer enclosure, and the flower garden in full bloom from April. The park sits right beside the National Maritime Museum and Royal Observatory, making it the natural anchor for a full day out in Greenwich — arrive early to claim a bench on the hill and watch the city unfold below.
